The ship was built in 1895 in Oude Wetering in the province of South Holland by order of J. van Blitterswijk in Lisse. The ship is equipped with stern signs and therefore probably transported light materials such as potatoes, straw and peat. The sailing area at the time was probably the area between Rotterdam, Leiden, Amsterdam and Utrecht.
From 1930 the ship lay on the Kaag with the construction of a houseboat for recreation. In 2003 I bought the ship and started the restoration. Because of the many features on the hull, it was possible to reconstruct a good picture of the original situation. The starting point for the restoration was to restore as much as possible to the original situation.
