El Galeon will be present at the Ostend at Anchor 2024 festival

El Galeon will be present at the Ostend for Anchor 2024 festival, where the ship will be docked at Mercator Quay in front of the railway station.

El Galeon is a replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon. For more than three centuries (16th-18th centuries), galleons were the ships that played the leading role in the trade and cultural routes to the East Indies, Sumatra and Indonesia. These routes were the longest and lasted longer than any other in the history of shipping. El Galeon was built in Spain in 2009-2010.
