The Bathtub Shantymen (FR)

The Bathtub Shantymen are a Belgian group who blend raw seafaring atmosphere with the lively energy of a pub in a rip-roaring shanty show. Hailing from the inland town of Virton, they sing multi-part sea shanties and Irish folk songs about life and work at sea, taverns, sailors’ mischief and all the roads that lead to rum. With voices, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, bodhrán and cajón, Manu, Jee Bee, Seb and Duke carry the audience from misty ship decks to smoky pubs, always with a cheeky wink and a drink close at hand.
