ZeeEgel B26

'ZeeEgel B26' is a former coastal patrol vessel that was once part of the German state fleet. Built in 1957 and refitted in 1964, it remained operational until 1992, specializing in surveying and maritime observation.

In 2003, the ship was acquired by a radio officer from the Belgian merchant navy, who equipped it with modern electronic instruments for both inland and coastal navigation.

Ten years later, in 2013, the vessel was taken over by the non-profit organization Les P’tits Beigneurs, which carried out a thorough two-year restoration. Their mission: to use the ship as a carrier of nautical heritage and a platform for social and educational activities.

Since 2025, Nehalennia has been the proud owner of 'ZeeEgel B26'. The organization uses the vessel to provide nautical training for young people, continuing its maritime legacy with the same passion and purpose.
