Practical information exhibitors

Registration / Setup / Dismantling

• Upon arrival, you must first register at the information tent at Petrus- en Paulusplein You will receive a crew pass (1 per stand).
• The information tent is located at Sint-Petrus- and -Paulus Square, opposite "Amandine." The person responsible for the stands is Karen Simoens.
• The information tent will be staffed from May 21 to 25, from 09:00 to 18:00.
• Setup is possible on Wednesday, May 21, from 10:00am to 18:00pm. Anyone who wishes to continue working later must request this at the information tent. After 19:00, no materials may be taken off-site unless explicitly checked by the security team.
• All stands must be completely finished by Thursday, May 22, at 09:00am. After that, all vehicles must leave the site.
• To ensure safety outside opening hours, it is strictly forbidden to enter the tents at Sint-Petrus- and -Paulus Square, Vindictivelaan, and Mercator Square. These areas will be fenced off with noise barriers and monitored from 20:00 to 08:00. Only Oostende voor Anker staff with an Organization badge will be allowed entry.
• All stands must be cleared by Sunday evening, May 25, at 22:00pm. Tent construction will begin dismantling on Monday, May 26, at 07:00am.
• Did you request electicity?
  • Please bring your own extension cords and/or power strips (a 20-meter extension cord).

Fire safety

• For stands with cooking and heating appliances, generators, and/or refrigerators, you must provide your own fire extinguisher (6 kg powder extinguisher or 6-liter foam extinguisher).
• The fryer must have a metal lid + please ensure that you provide a sufficiently large fire blanket at your stand.
• The fire department will check this during the safety inspection on May 21.

Waste

• Several waste disposal points will be set up around the site where waste can be sorted. In addition to the daily collection, you are expected to bring your waste to a disposal point during the day.
• No waste should be stacked at your stand during the day!

Catering material

• All exhibitors are required to use biodegradable or reusable materials. The following local supplier offers a wide range of biodegradable materials:

Parking during Oostende voor Anker

• Unfortunately, this year, we are unable to provide parking through the organization.
• There are several paid parking options in the surrounding area where you can park for multiple days:
  • Parking Station-Zee:
    • NMBS-parking Oostende
  • Q-Park Churchill:
    • Parking Churchill | Oostende
  • Indigo (underground parking)
    • = Sky Parking Oostende / Zeeparking / Visserskaai / Zeedijk
• During the festival, Q-Park Churchill (1) and Visserskaai (2) parking are accessible via:
• Van Iseghemlaan – Albert I-Promenade – Visserskaai – Ooststraat – Kerkstraat – Jozef II-straat – Service road behind the church – Pastoor Pypestraat – Sint-Franciscusstraat –

• Alternatively, you can park your car just outside the city center (possibly on a peripheral parking lot) and take the tram/bus.
